Small 4×4 frames can make a big impact. Our selection of farmhouse frames and rustic picture frames are often imitated, but never equaled. At All Barn Wood, we make all our own original picture frame designs in our shop in Spanish Fork Ut. We use local reclaimed wood. Others send this weathered wood to the landfill, junk pile, and farmer’s burn pile. Instead, we give this beautifully imperfect wood a new life in your home and on you wall.
Because we design, manufacture, mill our own wood, and ship the rustic creations, we have an advantage. We can do what other unimaginative, imitators cannot: we keep our 4×4 frames simple and beautiful, our costs and prices low, and we can offer a huge number of customization and personalization options for many of our products.
In addition, each 4×4 photo frame include glass, backing and a sawtooth hanger. How do you hang your 4×4 picture frame? Basically, you just need to add your 4×4 picture to your frame, hammer in the sawtooth where you want it, put a nail or screw (my personal preference) in the wall and you can hang it.
How do you measure the picture frame?
A Standard Picture Frame has three measurements.
- Picture Size—the “size” of the picture frame. A 4 X 4 picture will fit in a 4×4 picture frame.
- Viewable area—how much of the picture you will see from the front of the frame. So, generally this size is 1/2″ less the size of the frame. A 4X4 photo frame will show 3.5×3.5 of the photo.
- Outside dimensions—This depends on the molding width. So, you take the frame size, add double the width, and minus 1/2″. Hence, if it is a 2″ wide 4 x 4 frame, 4+4 (2″doubled) is 8″ minus 0.5″ is 7.5″x7.5″ outside dimensions.
